Grade 5 Daffron Elementary School Plano, Texas	MESSAGE: Dear Evonne T., I don't think that Jess's father doesn't care about him, but I do agree that he doesn't pay that much attention to him. I think that his father wants Jess to be a man, so his father doesn't want to treat Jess like a girl, all mushy-like.

FROM: Adam G. Grade 5 Daffron Elementary School Plano, Texas	MESSAGE: I was wondering if Jesse was so afraid to go across the stream to Teribithia, why didnt he stop Leslie from going and by the way do Jesse and Leslie really have a crush on each other?

When he tried to go to Terabithia by himself, there was no magic, so he left Leslie alone. I think he understands Leslie and her father.

While they are not in Terabithia, they use slang kind of words like "ain't". Since Leslie created Terabithia, I think she is very creative and sort of guides Jesse.

I think they named chapter 5 "the Giant Killers" because in the beginning they talked about the giants that would threaten Terabithia. I'm also loving this book and think Jess and Leslie will have a big important event happeing in Terabithia or someone will destroy it or something like that. I also think that May Belle will blab to someone about Terabithia, does anybody feel this way too?

When one girl at our school started to play kickball other girls started to play kickball. They are starting to kick good. Also because girls don't always wear dresses to school.

They could start wearing pants too whenever they run.

They're not cuss words, it's just the author expressing how the people feel like the dad. He cusses because he's tired and grumpy. People dittoed or copied cuss words a long time ago. The book is getting better and better because there's always something interesting going on in a chapter like when May Belle said that if Leslie didn't believe the bible, what would happen to her if she died. I also like the part when Jess and Leslie tricked Janice Avery. Now I have a question for you. Why did Leslie name her secret place Terabithia?
