I really think it wasn't a perfect day for Jess because Leslie died. At first, you would think it was Jess's perfect day, but at the end, something tragic happens. |

The book Brigde of Teiabithia is a pretty sad book when Leslie dies and Jess is now back like he was with out Leslie. QUESTION: How do you think Jess would feel without his best friend Leslie? |

MESSAGE:
Do you think it was a good idea for Jesse and Leslie to swing over on a puny rope over a roaring river with sharp rocks right below them to get to Terebithia? I think they should of built a bridge. This way they didn't have to risk falling and it would be more like queens and kings to get over to Terebithia on a bridge. What do you think? |

I think that chapter 10 was a very good chapter until Leslie died because if I had a friend who died I would probably not even want to go to school. Also, with that kind of caliber of friend people might want to die themselves. After reading chapter 10, I thought the way Jess would and said to myself what a way to cap off a "perfect day" when Leslie died. |

I would like to think that Brenda wanted to rub the sore of losing Leslie in because at the end of chapter ten Brenda said "your girl friend's dead" I would think with such a sudden bad thing happening Jesse would faint or something,I know Jesse felt bad, but how bad? |

In our class we wre talking about Jesse's perfect day. It wasn't really perfect after he knew that his best friend, Leslie, died. I had lots of perfect days ruined by something else. Like the time I went to Six Flags. It was very sunny in the morning and the afternoon, but there was pouring rain at night so we had to go home. |

MESSAGE:
Dear Michael, Probably the reason May Belle asked Leslie "what if you die?" was just a obnoxoious question but it is actually a fore shadow that gives hints about what is going to happen in the future. Also that question is actually to a response to Leslie's non- believing self of the Bible and God. |

The book is sad and good and funny. But the book is not modern because the characters are old fashioned. Girls in dresses and boys in overalls is something that you don't see that often. |

In my class we were talking about Jesse's so called "perfect day". I think Jesse really didn't have a perfect day because when he came home he found out that Leslie died. I feel really sorry for him and I would have cried. He was a good friend to Leslie. I been through lots of perfect days ended by something I didn't like. There was this one time I went to the zoo with my family, and it was bright and sunny in the morning, but it started to rain in the afternoon. I did have some fun, because it did stop raining. |

What is your idea of a perfect day? I think that Jess's day would have been better if he had asked if Leslie could come to the art gallery. Maybe if he had, Leslie would have never died. |

In chapter 3, Rulers of Terabithia , why do you think Leslie doesn't have television in her house? I think it is because her parents are writers and Leslie does chores for them. Also because they don't want it or they don't need it. |

This is a great book but I didn't like the part when Leslie gets killed it makes the story sad. |

MESSAGE:
Dear Jacqueline, I think that Jesse doesn't like to go into Terabithia alone because he doesn't have as big of an imaginations. For example, Leslie always uses long medieval talk and always makes up the stories of the intruders coming into Terabithia. It's also nice to be somewhere with a friend! |

Dear Henry, Even though you asked that question to Seth, I'm responding, Ok? I believe that Jess will actually become the fastest runner in the whole school now that Leslie's gone. Still, he needs to train hard just in case some one has been training hard and also I think once Jess wins a lot he shouldn't get too cocky.:) |

Dear Josh P., I don't think that Jesse and Lesie are going to have a perfect life becuase Jesse is scared to get to Terabithia becuase the creek has rushing water. Jesse thinks that if he falls into the water he could drown and die. |

I think that Jess is afraid to cross the creek because he does not want Leslie to die. He thinks that Leslie might slip and fall down because of what May'Belle said.I also think that he is scared because he does not know how to swim and if he slips he will probably hit the water to hard that the preasure will make him die. |

MESSAGE:
Dear Adam, I think Jess didn't want to stop Leslie because Leslie might think Jess is scared of crossing the creek. I also think that Jess didn't stop her because Leslie is a girl that isn't scared to cross the creek and Jess is a boy who is scared to cross the creek. I don't think Jess and Leslie have a crush on each other, I just think that they are friends. |

Dear Adam G., I think Jess has to go over to Terabithia because Leslie is going and he doesn't want to be like a scaredy cat in front of Leslie. I don't really think Leslie has a crush on Jess. When I say Leslie, its because in one of the chapters, Jess said he likes Leslie. And I think Leslie only likes Jess in a friend way is because by her actions to Jess. By that I think she only does like him only in a friendly way. |

Dear Carla, What do you think about chapter nine? I think it's interesting! Don't you! What did Leslie mean when she said: Give us, we beseech thee ,wisdom to discern this evil, and power to overcome it? Why do you think Jesse didn't want to cross the creek? I think Jesse didn't want to cross the creek because he was scared that if Leslie wasn't scared to cross the creek and he was scared he would be embarrased. And why do you think chapter 9 is called The Evil Spell? I think it is called The Evil Spell because of the rain Jesse has been dreaming of. Why do you think chapter 10 is called The Perfect Day? Well write back soon. BYE! |

Dear Lakers, Jess and Leslie built Teribithia by using their imagination. They use a rope as a bridge to get from their real world to Teribithia . A puppy named Prince Terrian is the court jester and the body guard. Teribithia is just across the creek and and in the woods a little. |

MESSAGE:
Going to Teribithia is harder to go to for Jess and a breeze for Leslie. Leslie is not afraid of going to Teribithia because the creek bed is getting rushing water and she knows how to swim and Jess is afraid of going because he will drown in the rushing water. I'm kind of like that too. How is your life connected to Jess'? |
