I think that the reason that Jess built the bridge so he won't fall in the creek and die like Leslie did.

I liked Bridge to Terabithia because it was cool to have a secret place and to be queen and king and to rule your own place. It was also sad when Leslie died.

I really liked the book becuase it relates to a book I've already read about a boy and the new girl on the street. They have a special place just like Terabitha. They also get a dog as a pet. The girl doesn't die, but she moves away after a few weeks.
