What does Mrs. Amos mean when she says, "I do not have time to put up with the foolishness of those members of our race who do not want to be uplifted" (page 15) Oh—and how would Chapter 2 change if it were told from Toddy's point ov view? I think that he uses them for a great reason, well because they are good rules. Sometimes when I have to lie I will use his rules. I like the rule where it says, If your going to make a lie up make sure that it is short and easy. I think that one of my friends should use that rule because whenever she makes up a lie, later she would not remember it if I asked her about it.
