I think that a lot of characters in the book are flat characters(characters that we don't know much about, that don't do anything to change the book)like Kim,Jerry,Bugs,Toddy,Mrs.Amos,Mr.Amos,and Bud's pretend family.The round characters(characters that do make a difference in the book)are Bud,Lefty Lewis,and Herman E. Calloway. Who do you think are the flat characters? Who do you think the round characters?

Hi,
I think Lefty Lewis's family must be really caring to bring in a kid who they found in a bush on the side of the road, at 2:30 in the morning. Not to mention Bud could've had some kind of weapon with him. So I think Lefty Lewis's family is really caring.I think what made them reach out to Bud was the fact that Bud is only a little boy to them and they wouldn't want him to die of starvation or get in a car with a stranger.
What do you think?

I think the book is really good so far.When Bud was running down to the trian and Bud was trying to grab Bugs hand but Bud could't grab his hand because the suitcase was slowing him down. Bud finally stop. He watched the trian and Bugs go farther and farther awway. Bud said that Bugs was his family but know that Bugs was gone he didn't have a family anymore. i fell bad for Bud now that he does not have a family anymore.
