It just seemed so real as an ending. I mean if you read the afterward the character's real name is Herman F. Curtis and Lefty Lewis is a real name.

I think that what makes it such a good book is that it is from Bud's point of view. It is also a very exciting book and it is hard to put down once you start reading - that's what happened to me - I got hooked. Me saying that it is a good book is really good because I dont read a book unless I can't put it down until it's done or if I was told I have to read it. Why do you like this book so much and call it the best? Do you know of any books that are just as good? I think that the book In the Clear and Waiting to Dive are really good books too.
