So far we think this story is good and we can't wait for the battle to start.

MESSAGE:
Dear Amber, Dorian, Jamel, Martin, and Jennifer A.
We think the "Fighting Ground" is the place where they fight and have their wars.

We think Jonathan's father will feel proud of Jonathan for fighting and staying away from home without feeling homesick. How do you think Jonathan's father will feel after the war?

MESSAGE:
Dear Jessie, Sahar, Eric, Keith, John, and Meris,
We think Jonathon is brave because he is fighting in his first war, loyal because he is fighting for America, and disobediant because his father told him not to fight.

We think Jonathon's father will feel proud and angry because Jonathon's father told him not to go, but Jonathan did fight for his country.

What do you think?

(Meris and John and Eric and Keith have responded to this message.)

MESSAGE:
We think the marchers were nervous because they wanted to be careful about attacking the other enemies, because the corporal kept on lying about how many enemies will be there for the marchers to fight.
