Chapter 5 My favorite part is when Brian kept thinking about Mr. Perpich and what he'd say. That tells us he is a pretty good student.

I liked chapter 6 because Brian found food. I also liked it because of the way he found the berries(the birds led him the berries)

We are reading Hatchet in school and I like it very much so far. I like when the plane was ready to crash because it gave a lot of detail and it was very suspensful.My favorite chapter was chapter six because it described how he was going to find food and finally the birds led him to the berries.

I think that the book is good, and I think that some parts are gross, like when Brian threw up. Karrah thinks that the part when Brian was going to crash in the water was scary. River thinks it is scary and gross when he has a heart attack. Ricki says Brian was brave to fly the plane. Jason thinks it was cool when Brian pulled the plane up beacause it felt like his chair was moving. Zak thinks it was cool when the plane was about to run out of gas. Tracy thinks that it was scary when Brian could not conect to the airport.
