In our Bookclub discussion we predicted what the first thing we would do if we were in Brian's situation: find a tall hill and look around, try to dive to the plane and get stuff, set up a shelter with limbs and bushes, scream and shout to see if there were other people on the island. What would you do?

So far I like this book because it is very
descriptive and is very interesting at all

I thought it was neat how the auther made him survive the crash and how the boat crashed. The part right before the crash it was really starting to freak me out.

I think this book is annoying! It's stupid how the author keeps reapeting stuff. He didn't do anything in chapter 4. He just sat there. I've read this book before, so there's no point in doing this.

If that many mosquito were on him he probably would die cause he would lose a major amount of blood. so then he would die so that shows this is a fiction book

I thought it was exquisitely scary when, Brian fell in the water ( in the plane), and he could breathe under water!! It was also really bazzare when all the mosquitoes and flies were around his body! I also think that the hatchet will also save his life, but he might die because of the hatchet,Dede!!!!!!!!!!

he would have been nocked out in the crash and would have drown because the impact was so great that or he woul d have died in the crash because the plane would have exploded

I like the book alot and so I am very bummed that we don't get to read today. But if I were Brian I would build a house with branches and get a good store of berries and I would eat a little and go to sleep and wate for the swelling to go down! Whenn I was reading a chapter yesterday with some of my frinds my eyes started to water when a frined of mine read that his eyes were almost swelled shut. I want to just tell him to let the swelling go down.

In chapter 4 it
was kind of nasty
because of the mosquitos,they got all around Brian's body.

so! In the book hatchet (like always).
And Brian didn't do much in the fourth chapter,
Brian just sat in the forest beside the lake ( the 'L' shaped pond)and thought about his parents.
