Beside the horrible lake water what else can he drink? What can he use for shelter? I wannna know how long it will take for his dad to report him missing? Well I think the police will find out before the father because They will notice that the airplane thats suppose to be landing at that certain time isn't landing. Why wasn't their other passengers on the plane? When he drank the water in the lake I would of thought he would got alot more sick then just throwing up alot. I think it kind of cushoned the fall. i think that it was brave of brian to crash/land the plane. I would have been scared to death if I were in tht situation. What I would have done was watied until he the plane ran out of gas and then see how far i would get. I would also try to locate some sign of human life and land as close to it as possible. i think he will use the hatchet to build things like weapons. I think that he will try to find more berries in the woods and try to kill animals for their meat.I can't wit to finish the book to find out Brian's destony!!

I think that Brian needs to use his head. When the BUGS are attacking him,he should jump in the water before he goes to sleep. It would keep the BUGS off for at least an hour.

If you would ask me how we would survive in that predicamint, we would use the hatchet! We would make a dwelling as fast as we could and we would work on it as much as I can. The kind of dwelling we wold create either something out of either straw or because we have a hachet. We thought chapter 3-6 where extremely boring and senceless! Nothing at all happened. We had homework reading how he walked to the lake to get a drink in a hole chapter! He doesn't move, he just sits next to a tree and gets bit by mosquetos! I think he should have either turned the plane around or landed after the pilot died. It would be easier for him to be found. He should start building a form of shelter right away. He should also look for food right away. I think Brian is like Robinson Crusoe in a way. They are both stranded with little supplies.
