In the book hatchet Brian didn't do much but think alot!
But at first he needed water so he drunk the water out of the dead pilot's L-shaped lake and barfed!
so now he was trying to remember what happened.
and he was sorting the things he had with him,
things like money, nail-clippers and a hatchet!

We think that it would be scary if a swarm of mosquitos came and starting attacking me. We think it is making Brian feel that he only has a 30% chance out of 100 getting out of the Canadian wilderness. We think he feels better to be away from his mother because it is all her fault that he is there, being attacked, bruised, and almost being killed. To have a better chance of survival he should use his hatchet to build a better shelter. What do you think?
