Dear READERS,
Do you think the signal fire would've worked for you?I know it would work for me.I think Brian shold've paid more attention to the rescue plane than making his spear.Thats just my opinion though!!!!!!!!!!!

Ashley, (Mata Intermediate)
I agree with you. I feel sorry for Brian because he missed his chance to get away from the wilderness. In ch. 13 the author is helping us understand what Brian is feeling. What do you think? Brian's mistakes are helping him understand what he should and shouldn't do. Do you feel the same way. I think he has to start thinking like "If I do this what will be the consequence for it?" Now he has to remember how to do everything in the wild. It's like being reborn and starting all over. Can he make it like this? well, I don't think so. What about you? Now e's in sort of a longer period of time ago then the year 2000. and back then they did't know about as many things as we do now. With all of these things going on he still has to eat, invent things to live on, and alot more. I would love to listen to what you have to say so please write me back from all I've told. Thanks, Stephy

Hi! what do you think about the signal fire for the rescue, he missed it what do you think about that?I think he should get metal from the crash and melt it then mold it into plates and utencils ect. Do you like that idea? He said 47 days have past and do you think you would survive. Chapt 12.
Brian learns alot from his mistakes, like the skunk. We had to make a doll with a bowling pin and I thought mine would look really good, but it turned out bad. I learned alot from the mistakes I made. Write back please.

I disagree with you Rhina. The book is very cool.I ecxpechaly
think the skunk part was exiting. All of the parts so far are
very exiting. The only part that was discusting was when he ate the raw turtale eggs.I'm glad that Brian dicided not to kill himself.I got a little worried that Brian would wake up dead!He has totaly changed.I have noticed that when the wolves came near,he just smiled back.He is careing more about the animals now.I'm kinda' glad the rescue plane didn't see him.I wanted to see if he would change.Well I got my answer. He has changed alot.I'm wondering if the rescue plane will ever find him.WRITE BACK SOON:)

I just finished the book, and I liked it. I'm not going to say what happened. So you will just have a mystery until you finish. Alex I think you are wrong! I don't think it was disgusting when Brian ate the fool bird,he had to eat something besides fish. Fish are very light. They don't fill you up. I would have eaten the fool bird, because if I was stuck in the Canadian oil fields, I would want something else besides the fish. He said they were good. Nobody really knows! Do you think he will survive?
