MESSAGE:
Dear Readers,
My first impressions of the characters is that Sal is a country girl living in Kentucky. I think she is nice because she is polite and seems close to her father. I think her name is strange, Salamanca Tree sounds like an Indian name.

Sincerely Martin

MESSAGE:
Dear Readers,
I like Sal because she is letting her grandparents drive her to her mom for a verey long time. I think she likes her mom. I wonder if the mom is mad at the dad or did she just go away?

It sounded like the dad was nice.

Sincerely,
Jennifer

MESSAGE:
Dear reader,
We like the book "Walk Two Moons" so far. We like it because it's unique in the way that Sharon Creech writes the book. It's also unique because there are two parallel stories and the book goes from past to presant a lot which makes the book very interesting. The most interesting part so far was probably all the figurative language and vocabulary.

MESSAGE:
Dear Readers,
My first impression of Sal is that she misses her mom because she is praying to see her by her mother's birthday.

Sincerely,
John

MESSAGE:
Dear Student,
I think that this will be a good book. Today in our groups, we disscused what we thought the title meant. I think that it means that Sal will have to walk the distance of the moon twice in order to find her mother. What do you think?

From,
Nick

MESSAGE:
Today I think this book was ok, I did not like some parts. They were boring. They did not have enough details to me.

MESSAGE:
Leonard G. says he likes the book because it is funny and it reminds him of somethings that he has done, in the past. When he went with his grandmother and her boyfriend went to Dallas and they talked and told stories the entire way.

Joshua E. says he likes the book alot. He likes the characters in the book becuase of the way that they act. For example, Margaret has all this red hot hair. The way that they talk, like instead of saying "good" grandma says "delicious!"

Crystal says she liked the book because she has never read a book that is telling 2 stories at the same time before. She thinks the 2 stories will almost be alike.

Samiha H. says the book is very interesting and it is kind of like an adventure.
