MESSAGE:
Dear reader,

We think the story is interesting and suspenceful. We do not agree with Phoebe about Mr. Cadaver. We do not think Mrs. Cadaver killed him and chopped him up, but we do think he's dead. What do you think? Phoebe's family probably really reminds Sal of her mother because her mother's family was respectful and proper, too. Blackberries also remind Sal of her mother. We think Sal really misses her mother and she is exited about possiby seeing her mother.

Dear reader,
Do you think Phoebe's guess that Mrs. Cadaver killed Mr.Cadaver by chopping him up and buring him in her back yard? We have a very good reason why we like the book just because when we start we can't stop.

MESSAGE:
We think that Sal is sometimes rude to new people (Margaret) and nice to people she knows (Gram and Gramps). When she was in the car, she was nice to her grandparents by telling them a story. When she met Margaret, she was rude to her when she wouldn't come into her house. She's probably jealous of Margaret, who isn't a member of her family. Her dad likes Margaret, and Sal misses her mom.

MESSAGE:
Dear Reader,

I think that Sal is brave, sad, and shy. I think Sal is brave because of her incident with the spider. I think that Sal is sad because she thinks that she might not get to Lewiston by her mom's birthday. I think that Sal is shy because she has just moved to a new town and she does not know anybody.

Amber P, ther is no reason to be afraid of daddy long legs because they are perfectly harmless. I think that daddy long legs are the coolest kind of spider because of their long legs. What did you think of chapter four?

sincerely,
Kiley D.
