Dear Reader,
We like this book so far because it is very funny. Also we like the layering in the story. We think that Salamanca is nice and she tells alot of things about her and her friends. Pheobe Winterbottom has a powerful immingation and her ideas aren't alaways accurate. Gramps and Grams are funny to but they have some weird saying, like chickabitty, and calls people the wrong names like Pheobe Peeby and things like that. I think Gramps is a little to obessed with Grams when Gramps switched 2 lanes to let Grams put her feet in the water.

Dear Peoples,
We think Phoebe and Mrs. Partridge are the lunatics. We think Mrs. Partridge killed Mr. Cadaver by first feeling his face to know how old he was and then grabbing his neck and choking him half to death. We think Phoebe is a lunatic for trying to get scary thoughts into Sal's head.

Bye Bye,
Sarah P. and Carly S.

Dear Nick and Sara V.,
We do not think that the book is boring. You may think that there isn't many details but look closely. She adds words like peculiar, which is her favorite word so far. If you would have looked closely or re-read the part you have already read and looked at every little vocab. word you would love it I'm sure! From Chanelle.

Dear Nick, I also think that the title means that Sal will have to walk the distance of the moon twice to find her mother.

sincerely,
Aaron

Dear reader,
I think the person who left the message on Phoebe's pourch was the guy who Phoebe thought the potential lunatic was or Mrs.Partridge but if she left it she isn't blind and she could be a potential lunatic. I also think Mrs.Cadaver could have left it because she could think Sal and Phoebe have caught on to her plan to become Sal's mother.

Sincerly,
Emily A

We thought that having to storys inside one made the story unique. We thougt that it really helped the story to be very unique and intresting. Chapter 10 at the end made us want to keep on reading. We also think that Phoebe's imagination is a very big one and maybe not so good.

We think that the message that said don't judge a man until you walk to moons in his mocasin's m came from the "lunitic" since Peebe said that he would probaly ambush them on their way to Mary Lou's house.

I think the message that said don't judge a man unti

Dear Stephanie, Anna, John & Clay,

I agree, I think Phoebe's imagination is out of this world because she thinks that Ms.Cadaver killed Mr.Cadaver. I disagree that Phoebe's is not trustworthy,it is probably her creative side.

Dear Meagan,

What I liked about chapter 3 and 4 is that I liked it when she wasn't scared of spiders and let the spider go out of the window sill. For chapter four I liked it when she and Phoebe Winterbotem and Salamanca made friends.

I think Phoebe and her imagination are good but she can not prove what she says about people like Mr. Cadaver.

We think that Don't judge a man until you've walked two moons in his moccasins means don't judge a man about the way he talks (acts) until you have walked in his very own shoes. We don't have any examples to share to support our explanation of the message -- does anyone else?

We think "huzza, huzza" means calm down and go slow. Now that we have read these chapters, we think that the man at the door was parinoid, too!
