Dear Reader,
What words did you think were really interesting? I thought that "Beef Brain,Omnipotent, and Whangdoodle were really neat." I thought this because thay really made me think about why the author used these these words, and what does this word mean? That is also one reason why I really like this book. It makes you want to read on and not stop. Like some people, who are not supposed to read ahead, but they do becuse Sharon Creech did a fabulous job on thinking about what the other person is going to think. Having these very interesting words make this book one of my favorite books. The word choices are really the best! I can't wait to read, becuse I really like being in suspence!

Jessie A.

Dear Readers,
We like the words and figurative language in the book Walk Two Moons. Both of us think that Grams and Gramps are a cute and funny couple. They have a great relationship but a strange vocabulary. Some examples are "Huzza, huzza" or "gooseberry". If you agree or disagree write back and tell why.

MESSAGE:
James L.: I think that when they said that Ms. Cavendars husband was killed he was really the one going to Phoebe's house and leaving the notes.

Ashley G. : I think Mr. Cavendar ran away because he couldn't take living with Margaret and looking at her creepy face. I also think Phoebe takes things to far and tells them like they are really not happening.

Jan M.: If he didn't like living with her or looking at her why did he marry her?

Crystal I: I think Sal is a strange name.

Nena O.: I never thought about Sal's mother writing the letters. I think one day the person will admit that they are the person writing the letters.

Samiha H.: There is an opportunity to compare and contrast Phoebe and Sal. It is kind of like Wishbone.

Ricky N.: I think that the person that is writing the letters is the person that Pheobe thought was the lunatic. What do you think?

Anshul T.: I don't think that Sal's mom is writing the notes. I think that it is Margaret becuase Sal doesn't like Margaret and is mean to her.
