MESSAGE:
Today we talked about Noah's grandparents' friends' wedding. We talked about life at Century Village and how "out of this world" it is. It seemed to be so fake when compared to real life. We talked about how our lives relate to the story. Parents talk in a language foreign to us when they don't want us to understand what they are saying. We are finding the book very funny and we are laughing a lot. In some parts we find it a little confusing. One of the things we talked about was nitpicking and we found out what that meant. Did you find the parts about Century Village funny? Could you relate them to your own grandparents? Does anyone in another class know how to do calligraphy? (Mrs. Fitch's class has responded to this message.) |

MESSAGE:
Dear Hamish and Keith, I have a response to your question about why is the title The View From Saterday because the book shows all the kids views of how they answered the questions and the competition is on Saturday. You also said that the book was confusing to you. My class is reading the book and I have a suggestion for you, try reading the sections over again that you don't understand it helped me. |

MESSAGE:
I love this book. It seems so real, like it could happen to me. The View from Saturday is extremely funny too, especially the part about Noah's Jewish grandparents and Century Village. |
