Shiloh has the right to run off because Judd is mean to his dogs and barely feeds them. I think it was mean of Judd not to feed Shiloh when he ran off. I think it's good that Marty made a cage for him. I also heard that Judd is calling his dogs bad names. He calls one "GET". That is not very nice. It is also bad that he kicks Shiloh and the other dogs because they like to run. That does not make sense to me. Why would you ever kick a dog. (Keesha has responded to this comment.)

The reason Judd acts so mean is because he was always beaten up when he was 4. You can find that out in chapter 6 pages 64 and 65.

Marty it was wrong but it was something he had to do. Marty was honest but dishonest. He was in a hard situation. I'm not sure I could have done that. Could you? I think Marty was very brave to stand up to Judd.

I also like the book because Shiloh is a cute dog and it is instresting. I felt sorry for Shiloh when he went to the pet clinic and he almost died and when Marty got ready to leave Shiloh started kind of to wine. Thats when we all felt sorry Shiloh, and Marty beted Judd for the dog and if Marty would of give him Shiloh he probaly would of died soon as he got to Judd if Judd even touch him or kicked him he would of died. I feel at the end I think it is happy, because Marty get's to keep Shiloh.
