Eamonn, we agree. We think that Marty's family is poor because they didnt eaven have money to take care of Shiloh because they were taking care of thier grandmother. Marty's family couldn't even travel anywhere. We think that David was from a rich family because he was always somewhere treaviling. They went a lots of places and wasted money bying lots of things. David eats a lot because in the story it said that David was bigger than Marty. I think that means that there was a lot of money to by alot of food. Marty ate left overs and had to eat food that was killed and not bought. Marty had to eat stuff that he didn't really like. Like when he had to karo syrup and lamb and rabbit. He had to look for buckshots when he was eating rabbit and Marty also felt bad for the rabbit when he was eating it and he couldn't eat it. We think that Marty understands the food chain better than David becuase David only eats food he buys and Marty has to eat hunted food and planted food. |
