Thanks for all your great comments yesterday! People asked some interesting questions. Maybe we should try to answer them.
Kayla wondered if Marty will end up with Shiloh. Kali wonders what might happen to Judd's dogs, since they seem to live such a hard life. Maria and Tia are wondering if Marty will ever be able to get money together to buy Shiloh. If so, how?

Katy and Shawna want to know if people think Marty should be able to keep Shiloh. What do you think?
And Kevin believes that Judd doesn't name his dogs because he doesn't think of them as pets—he thinks of them only as hunting dogs and things to "kick at." What do you think?
Mrs. Samples' class made some really interesting points about Judd and his dog. They wonder, if Judd doesn't really love his dogs, what does he love? Does he like himself? I think these are very good questions! I can't wait to read the discussion today!

Hi,
we think that Shiloh will start barking and the other dogs will come and find him.Then Judd will try to punish Shiloh,but then Marty will come and save Shiloh and Shiloh will be Marty's forever. What do you think will happen to Shiloh?

I don't think Judd likes anything. He's mean to his dogs,marty, and laughs at mean things. Just out of his nature he might not like himself.

Will Marty's hiding place keep Shiloh hidden? We think someone will see him. Is Marty doing the right thing by keeping Shiloh hidden? We think that it is, because if he gave him back to Judd, Shiloh would get beaten or worse.

What do you think about Marty's dad being a post office person? Do you think Mr. Preston knows a lot about his customers? Why do you think Ray Preston lets Judd have Shiloh if he knows Judd treats the dog bad?

I think that Marty keeping Shiloh is a bad idea because if someone finds Shiloh and they know that it's Judd's dog they will tell him, then Shiloh will be in even more trouble,Judd might even kill him. So I think that if Marty really wants Shiloh he should somehow prove that Judd mistreats the dogs. Then Marty might actually get Shiloh. What do you think Marty should do?

I wonder how Marty will feed Shiloh without letting his parents know? I also want to know how he actually will buy Shiloh from Judd?, and how he is going to keep him a secret?
I also like how they have such different dialect!,and the description of Judd.I also like when he is so worried Shiloh will make a lot of noise.
