I think Marty is a dishonest person, but in a good way. He lies alot but he's lying to help Shiloh. What do you think about Marty's deal with Judd?

How do you think Shiloh felt when Judd walked into the Prestons' house? I think Shiloh thought that Judd was going to take him back and beat him again, and he was very scared. I think so because Shiloh was backing down into his basket, and trying to make himself disappear.

I do think Judd still has some family because he attacks like he had an older brother that dosen't live in West Virgina. Brandon,do you think Marty will get to keep Shiloh?

I think that Marty made a good decision on going to try to talk to Judd and make Judd give Shiloh to him because I am pretty sure that everyone, even Dad would be sad and disappointed that they had to give up Shiloh. I also think that Judd should just give Shiloh to the Prestons because he doesn't take care of him, feed him,or give him T.L.C. Do you think that Marty made a good decision telling Judd off like he did? DO you think that Judd was a little too harsh on Marty?

We think Phyllis Reynolds Naylor got the idea of writing Shiloh because maybe she had or has a Beagle dog named Shiloh. Or maybe she used to know a dog named Shiloh from when she was a little girl. What do you think?

Haris, I agree with you that Marty had enough wood to build the walls of the cage higher, but he didn't think he needed to make them any taller, because he didn't think that anything would happen to Shiloh in the cage. I also agree with you that Marty should be more careful with other people's property. If he doesn't save Shiloh from Judd, it won't be the end of the world, it won't ruin Marty's life, but it will make Marty feel bad that he couldn't save Shiloh. But I'm not sure whether I agreee that if the Bakers chained up their dog it would be mistreating it.

Explain what you mean by mistreating the German shepard when they chained him up.

Will Judd keep his half of the agreement with Marty? I think he will because his house and yard needs a good clean up, he even said so himself. I think the reason Judd agreed is because he needed help with his deer. What do you think?

What do you think Judd is going to do with Shiloh if he gets back? If Judd gets Shiloh back, I think he will shoot him.

What do you think Marty will do once Shiloh is healed and must go back to Judd? I think Marty will try and collect cans to get money to buy Shiloh, or ask Judd what he wants other than money for Shiloh. I also think Marty will not give up Shiloh no matter what. I think Judd has another side other than the mean one, so he might soften up and let Marty have Shiloh.
