Dear Amanda & garland, I am finished with the book and enjoyed it lots! in chapter 10-14 was the most exciting because there was no one in the casket it was just clothes for the jews! i thought peter and mama and henrick were very brave because they helped the jews get to freedom. when mama broke her ankle and anne marie went and helped her she found out that mr.rosen had dropped the little thing that helled sence in it so the nazi dogs would loose their sence of smell. Annemarie had to be brave to go through the woods with the little box and a lunch for her uncle who was a fisherman. when the nazis stopped her i felt like that was me and i got very scarred i wouldnt have known what to do when he asked what the little package was. i would have been scared out of my mind! your friend, ashley |
