To Billy J. @ Houston Tx From Emily T. Have you read any other good books aboutthe Jews? Well, I have its called The Diary of Anne Frank. This book tells about when this little girl named Anne Frank.Her family was all Jewish inclouding Anne. Anne and her family was sent to a concentration camp. Finally they got out and they needed a place to stay. So Mr. Frank went out to find a place to stay. He finally found a place it was a factory. So then they moved up into the attic. They had rules for everything, because people work there in the day time. They had to burn everythingin the stove. They couldn't throw anyting away ,because that might give someone a clue . So they will think someone is living there. I have also seen that play. If you get a chance I would recomand you to go and see it! There is also a movie about it. I want to see that to. To:Charles I have to agree with you about getting a mysterious feeling when Peter dropped the liquid in the baby's mouth. I think it is a liquid that puts you to sleep. So, peter probably put the liquid in the baby's mouth so it would fall asleep and not make any sounds so they could get away without getting caught by soldiers. Don't you think it was smart of Peter to do that? I do. Otherwise they might have been caught by soldiers just because the stupid baby began to cry or something like that. |

Why do you think that in chapter 12 Annemarie's mom is lying on the floor? i think that she is either dead or she passed out tryng to run from someone. i also think she was running from someone and tripped hit her head and fell. in chapter 11 it was kind of sad that they had to leave peter. In chapter 11, I thought it was really mysterious that Peter dropped that liquid in the bay mouth. I wonder what it is? I think that was nice of mama to give Kristi jacket to the baby. I think that Kristi is going to be mad at first, but know that the baby's parents can't afford it. That should make Kristi feel giving because she is giving up one of her favorite belongings to someone poor. |

I think the book was good because I like the action and how people helped there community.I thik it is bravery because Peter tried to sneak people to Sweden until the war was over.I think it was sad how they killed Peter by exicution because they caught him,and how they ran over Lise with a army truck.I think it was bad of the Nazi's to come to someone else's country and take over by sending them to exicution camps.I think they should get 6 stars. |
