This book is called number the stars because in chapter 10 Peter said a psalm and this is how it goes:O praise the lord. How good it is to sing psalms to our god.How pleasnt to praise him!The lord is rebuilding Juruselum;he gathers in the scattered sons of Isreal. It is he who heals the broken spirit and binds their wounds,he who numbers the stars one by one...Whats your favorite chapter so far?And why?

There is a hand kerchief in the package! It was for good luck.Annemarie had to bring it to Uncle Henrick because it was very important to him.And her mom got hurt so she couldnt bring it to him.And Kirsti was too little to bring it to him so Annemarie had to!

All of the book is my favorite because Annemarie is always brave even Nazis do not intimidate her! I am also brave myself because I have disability and everyday I easily face my faers to overcome my challenges.I enjoyed the brave triumphing over the Nazi.

I wonder what Annemarie is feeling, when the war is over, and they are on the balcony of their apartment watching the parade and Ellen has not come back yet?

What would you do with the star of david? I would want to were it also until Ellen comes back. I can't believe that peter died. He was clever with the medicine and all.And now we know how lise died. That was wierd how they were in the Resistance.

We think it is fair that Uncle Henrik lied to Annemarie. Because, as Uncle Henrik said, it is easier to be brave when you don't know everything. Then, when the soldeirs asked Annemarie who died, it was harder to lie than if she did not know that she was lying. Get our point? We know that it was fair for Uncle Henrik and Mama to lie to Annemarie.

I'm all done with the book. You were wrong about how there were clothes in the casket. It was just empty, with blankets and everything. I felt scared and happy at the same time about the book. It was scarey how the soldiers came into Uncle Henrik's house. It was happy because of The God of Thunder.

Do you have an idea why they had Blankets in the casket? I think it was for if they(Germans) open it they would probably think that she is wrapt up in blankets, because Ma said that she died of a diseases. So maybe they wouldn`t open up the blankets.

We are on chapter 17 and we were wondering if Annmarie ever gets to see Ellen again and if Ellen will be safe in Sweden. We where also wondering why you think the Nazis don't invade Sweden and what do you think it would be like to be in the secret place on the Ingeborg? We think that Annmarie will get to see Ellen and Ellen will be safe in Sweden. I think the Nazis didnt invade Sweden beacuse Sweden is bigger then Germany and I think it would be very cramped under the Ingeborg.

We agree with you, we think that it has really good sensory details about where Uncle Henrik lives.Do you think it sounds nice there if you had a choise about living there in Gillileje? We would like to live there to because it would be a nice place even though there is hardly any people there and hardly anything to do but go swimming and milk Blossom. But it would be fun. We also like the chapter 7 because it had alot of details like, The little red roof farm house, its chimmney crooked and even the small shuttered windows tilted at angles, a birds nest wispy with straw was half hidden in the corner where the roof meet the wall above a bedroom window. Did you like those sensory details? Please write back!!!!!
