MESSAGE:
I like the book so far because it is intersting. I realized that Mae is living in another time because she dresses differently than how wwe dress today.
I also know that she is old and has more than one son. I wonder why the author talk so long about the path that the cows made AROUND the forest instead of THROUGH the forest?

Did you like the book so far? I do. I like the part when Winnie was talking to the frog.It was weird when Tuck said that they had never grown since the day they drank the magic water.Do you think Winnie is going to run away?Well, that's all I'm going to say today, so I hope you write back some day.

Dear Chris,
I don't think that anybody can live for ever either. I'm not sure if Winnie will run away but if she thinks about it for awhile, I bet she won't. Today I did a triple venn diagram(three circles) and also wrote ideas about what it said about the setting in chapter one.

Chris I think the desciption is neat too.
I think if Winnie is very lonely she will run away.
I do think you can live forever if you are very faithful.
It is very funny talking to a toad.
Do you think we can live forever?

Chris, we made a web of the describing words in our bookclub. In Chapter 1 we found some amazing words. I thought the prologue was neat too.

MESSAGE:
Dear Chris,
I'm kind of thinking that maybe they will live forever. I also think that Winnie will run away because of the way she was explaining how cooped-up she was at her "touch me not" cottage. I think when she does drink the water, when she's 17, she'll marry Jessie.
