HOW DID YOU FEEL WHEN WINNIE FOSTER THOUGHT OF RUNNING AWAY? DID YOU EVER THINK OF DOING THE SAME?

Do you think Mae Tuck really loves her sons if she only visits them every 10 years?
I think maybe she is a very busy person and she doesn't have much time to see her sons.

I haven't read the book yet, but it sounds really interesting to me. I think I'll enjoy it a lot. From what all of you guys say, I'll really enjoy it. I hope that the book is really interesting and that I won't forget any detail. I also hope that one of you will write me back and give me a review of the book. I'd really like the opinion of another student for the report I'm doing, I'll even mention your name.

Mee Xiong

Why would Winnie run away from home, into the woods that her dad owned? I have trouble doing my hair in the morning if I don't look in the mirror, do anygirls have that problem? Why won't the let Winnie have any friends from the village? If that was my mother I would run away when I learned how to walk?

If you read Rebeccas' Question or Comment we have read up to chapter 10 in 2 days.

Today we started re-reading Chapter 2. We did a character map on Mae Tuck. On Chapter 2 we did a journal response. I wonder why Winnie's Mom and Grandma keep her cooped up in their house? If I were Winnie I would probably want to run away too, would you? We have read up to Chapter 10.

MESSAGE:
Dear Reyna
We think Winnnie will really run away because how she was explaining to the toad how she was cooped up in a cage.We think that Mae Tucks husband doesnt really care about their two boys Jesse and Miles because when May Tuck was going to visit their sons he didnt even care that she was going to visit them and it had been ten years since they had seen him

I think this book is very good so far. I want to know what is special about the big ash tree? Why did the author spend so long describing about the path? Write to me if you have any comments!
