Dear Mr H.in Branchberg,
I think that is a wonderful idea to draw the pond. I am one of Mrs Morris's students. I am enjoying the book, but a few people in my class are not. You said that you went ahead, what chapter are you on? Our teacher said we couldn't go ahead. I realy wish I could!!!!

A fan of tuck everlasting,
Rebecca L.

Hello, I just finished reading Tuck Everlasting, so stop reading this if you haven't. I think it was a GREAT book and a terific ending. I am glad Winnie never drank from the spring and used it up on the toad. I would not drink it if I was in that situation. Living forever would get so boring after a while. All your friends/family would get old or die. They would think you were possesed by the devil or something. Meanwhile, you would be the same age. That's what I think and I hope you take the time to respond, because it seems like no one else is. :) c ya.

Dear Sasha,
I agree with you.The m.i.t.y.s(man in the yellow suit) did get what he deserved. I hope that he doesn't live to tell the secret but then again then Mae will be hung and then everyone will know about the secret anyways. What do you think is the best to happen? I've got to go now.

Dear Laura P,
I'm on chapter 20. What chapter are you on? I think the man in the yellow suit got what he asked for! If he's dead he can't sell the water. But if he's alive he'll probably be one of the richest men ever! What do you think is going to happen to Mae? Her and her family are probably going to jail anyway, but she might get hung! Don't you agree? I don't know why Winnie wouldn't let Miles fish!

Write back soon!

Dear Mrs. Haberkern, Wow! Small World! One of my 6th grade students (currently reading Tuck) was a fifth grade student at Stony Brook last year. Jessica S. had Mrs. Barry in 5th grade and is still in touch with Katie B. (in your class?) who is reading Tuck. Jessica says Branchburg is near Flemington. We're in Gloucester Co. The school district is Wash. Twp. Enjoy the end of the book.

It was though not taking care of everything. Now IF she gets hanged the public will find, out because she can't die. Jst read on and you'll find out. Winnie has been brave. We took a figurative language test today. It was easy. RESPOND!!! :) thanks

Nena, HI!!! I agree, but not only is Mae just a strong woman, or as described by Natalie Babbit,a "potato of a woman" she will NEVER die. I read 24 tonight so i know more than you do. I won't tell you and wait for you to read it. I'll pretend i only know what you know freom where you are in the book. Well, the stranger deserved to die, and he would have sold the spring off anyways. Now Mae will NOt die in front of the public when being hanged. great fig. language huh int he book huh?? RESPOND!!!
