MESSAGE:
I think the story is real good because it really explains how people feel. I wonder why Jesse dosen't want Winnie to drink some of the fountain water. Is it magical? And why did the stranger come to Winnie's house? Does the stranger really need to find his family or is he tricking Winnie? (Lauren D. has responded to this message.) |

MESSAGE:
Right now I just finished Chapter 6. I can predict that Winnie will try to run away from the Tuck family. Can you? I do not see why the Tucks had to take Winnie away to tell her their story of how they're going to live forever. They could have just told her on the spot! Don't you think so? Please write back! (Lauren D. has responded to this message.) |

MESSAGE:
I have just finished reading ch. 6 and Winnie was really upset when Mae come with Miles and Jesse and took her away. When they get to the stream Winnie just burst out in tears. She began to feel better though when Mae let her look at the music book. I think Winnie might run away from them and tell other people about the spring. Gotta go. See ya! |

MESSAGE:
In chapter 6 I like when Winnie thought the next few minutes were a blur. I think the author used great description like "a troupe of burly men with long black moustaches".I didn't like how the author put in interuptions when the Tucks were talking. Anybody else who agree's, just respond. |

MESSAGE:
In chapter 6 I got a really good picture in my mind when the author said that for Winnie the next few minutes were just a blur. the picture in my mind was a girl riding a horse, looking really confused. If it was a movie, I think the movie would be mostly the same as the picture, exept that in movie it would show a girl mumbling. What would the picture be for you? MESSAGE:
Dear Orisha, The book reminds me of how I met my best friend Stephanie. I have known her for 6 years so far. We met at this tree just like Winnie and Jesse met at the big ash tree. I always climb when I'm at home doing nothing. My friend is fun to be around to talk and play games. Now we go to movies and hang out with people. Her older sister is my sister's very good friend. They bring us shopping and to parties. |
