MESSAGE:
Dear Oakville Ontario Students, I really like your comparisons and contrasts with the members of the Tuck family. I enjoyed reading them. My class will be finishing the book next week and ending with a review of all the figurative language in the novel. Have a Happy Halloween. Mrs. Morris |

I belive Winnie is confused by the Tucks because Winnie has always lived with her mother and father and grandmother and she has always been told what to do and what to think. So Winnie doesn't know what to think about the Tucks story. She may be thinking that the Tucks story is really weird and doesn't belive them because she doesn't even know them but then again she might belive them because she has always been told to belive her parents, so maybe she belives them. I'm not sure but I'v got to go. See Ya! |

MESSAGE:
I believe that Winnie feels confused by the Tucks strange story because it sounds really weird and I probably wouldn't believe it either. I think that she feels that her life is really confusing and wants to wake up and know that it was just a dream.I think that Winnie wants to believe the Tucks but she has always been told what to think, so she doesn't know what to think. |

MESSAGE:
Winnie thinks the Tuck's story sounds a little crazy because of the spring. Water can make you live but not forever. Her point of view is she think's they're crazy. She's not able to tell a her family the way she feels. The Tuck's tell her the story, But she doesn't beleive it. She will grow up keeping things to herself, the Tuck's will continue to express themselves. Winnie will beleive the story, because everything her parents tell her she beleives it. So when the Tuck's tell her she will beleive. |

MESSAGE:
Dear Ben, No, I would not like to live forever because it might get boring to see what happens everytime which might be the same things over and over and over again. Yes, perhaps they will think you are an alien. That's true about not having any friends just like the Tucks. Yeah you will get tired of being yourself all the time in the mirror. I sure wouldn't like being like that neither. please write back! |

Hey Shante'!! Thanks for responding i just finished reading chapters 20-21. Since you are not there yet I don't want to spoil the book for you. I BIG part is in chapters 19 i think, well something big will happen soon. It is a GREAT book. I lOVE IT!!!. I agree with you. If you never die we would be over populated. People would be born, but no one would be there to "trade" places. See people die, but new babies take their place. LIke in the book, it is a wheel. Wasn't it nice when Jesse asked Winnie to maybe marry him when she is 17?? I think Winnie will. Well, Please respond!! |

Nena, I agree,I would find out sooner than the Tucks did to find the horse. They had a lot on their mind and had to worry about Winnie too. I just finished chapters 20-21. THe book is excellent. It was JESSE who asked Winnie to marry him. You must have gotten confused, it's ok. I think she will. I mean she is young, but then she will wait until she is older to make the decision to drink or not drink the spring. I understand your opinion though. i g2g, please respond. |
