Sam and all my other fellow Tuck readers~ Sorry about the other note.. i pressed the wrong button!! But what I wold like to say is that this book turned out to be very intresting!! The Figutare languede is GREAT!!!! it is sooo cool... and they compare things so nicely with it!!Like they say , like a big potato of a woman!!! Or another one I really is.... Mae swung the gun like a wheel!!! The gun goes around her head and then BOME!!!! Just to say.... she never SHOT the Stranger.....Something else did happen!!! I think Winnie did miss her family but did like satying with the Tuck's because she is sooo close to them now and they told her thier life story...Angus Tuck is really nice if you think of it.... he takes time to talk to Winnie and tell her why it is soo important NOT to tell any one about the Spring! he said in Fig. Lang. They will come running like pigs to get thier food!!! Do you think that Mae can really die if she does get hung? She might because hanging is like strangling...and they said they Spring only let them not die by shoting and stabing.... how can it help her now?? Will Winnie or the Tuck's help her??? Well words are getting short so i have to go now!!! Reply soon!

Dear Sasha, I think the book is cool too. I did not expect Jesse to propose to her either. Do you think Winnie will marry Jesse in 6 years? I do. I wonder if anybody else will find out about the spring? I hope not. |

Dear Becca, I agree with you, if I were Winnie I would run away until I knew if the Tuck's were telling the truth. When Winnie knows the Tuck's are telling the truth then she could go home and be a neat freak or decide to live with the Tuck's and enjoy being messy. or else I'll get you at school :-p |

Dear Laura P, I'm on Chapter 16 right now. I think the man in the yellow suit is going to try to get the Tucks hung or something so that he can prove that they will live forever. Don't you think so? Then I suppose he'll try to make them tell him where the spring is so he can sell the water to people around the world! That was funny when Jessie asked her that when she was 17, if she would marry him! Don't you think that was funny? I'm not sure if Winnie will marry him when she's 17 because she might know another cute boy when she's 17. She probably won't even see him until she's 17! Don't you think so? Please write back soon! |

To Crystal I think that Winnie doesn't really believe that the Tucks are telling the truth either. I agree that if her parents believe the Tucks, she will be told to think that as well. Would you drink from the spring? I think it would be neat to see to live for ever so that you could see how the world changes. I'd feel lost because I would keep losing friends as their life cycle came to an end. Like it said in the book, "You would be off of the wheel". I'm writing this in the library right beside you1 If I were Winnie, I would feel terrified haveing to keep that secret to myself How would you feel about it? |

MESSAGE:
Dear Calvin, I'm really enjoying the novel too. (This is the 3rd time I've taught it.) Today (Thursday) my classes discussed chapters 20-21 and they're reading 22-23 for tomorrow's class. They won't have weekend homework, so we'll discuss chapter 24 next Tuesday. Our school has a video of an interview with Natalie Babbitt which is interesting and we'll view that next week after we finish the book. Mrs. Morris |
