Hello! Welcome to Friday! It's been a great week on the discussion board. What should we talk about today? For starters, I'm going to respond to some of the people who wrote to me yesterday.

Curtis: This book DOES rock. Why do you think it rocks?

MacKenzie: I love this book, too. I'm not sure what my favorite part of the book is. There are so many good scenes. That scene you describe is definitely exciting. What do you think will happen next?

Briana: You could be right. I think anything is possible! But I sure hope he doesn't get hold of the water. We'll have to read more to see what happens with the water and the stranger.

Mariela: I agree with all the things you wrote. I think I would be afraid to drink from the spring--for the same reason you give. I wouldn't want to mess up the life cycle. Winnie is my favorite character right now, too. I also like Mae Tuck. Yeah--I would be very afraid if I were in Winnie's place--not knowing who these Tuck people are and why they kidnapped me.

To EVERYONE: Thanks for your great comments over the last week. Tell me--what do you like best about this book? What are your favorite scenes and who are your favorite characters. I really want to know.

Well . . .after all that stuff Carmen just wrote, I really have nothing to add. She likes to go on and on and on, doesn't she??

I'm just kidding, Carmen.

I hope we have a good discussion today!

Hi Glenda. What I think about the story is that I think the man in the yellow suit is looking for Winnie. When I was reading chapter 17 today, I was sad.Because Miles had children and they died because they didn't drink the water from the spring.Miles didn't die because he drank the water. What I think about the story is that it is a interesting book. What is your special part about this book? What do you think about this book?

In chapter 17 the man in the yellow suit had said that the horse is slow and that even if you try the horse won't gallop. Migel I can aswer your question. I am like them cause I send long messages and they tell long stories. But sometimes my cousin and my brother hit me sometimes and it does not hurt and nothing happens to me and I am just fine. See I do send long messages.

Why does The man in the yellow suit want the wood? Does Winnie want to marry Jesse? Why did the stranger take the horse?

I got your message. I really like the book so far.
What do you think is going to happen to Winnie when the stanger comes?
Why do you think the Fosters gave the wood away to the stanger?

I like your theory but I don't think that the man in the yellow suit would want to take Winnie hostage because maybe he is friends with the Fosters and wants to tell them where she is.

Why do you think he would take her hostage?

Hi I am having a good opinion about Tuck Everlasting because the water makes you live forever and the characters are interesting.

My favorite character is Winnie because she is in love with Jesse and she is funny when she is in the boat.

Who is your favorite character?
