Chapter 24: Had alot of expression for an otherwise simple chapter. Book: Pretty good, but could be better. Also, what in the world in "You're joshing me?"?! What does that mean?!?!?!?! Writing Style: Babbit has a great writin style! She uses alot of figurative language to put a smooth picture of whats going on in your head, but that doesn't effect the story! The movie looks interesting to. My biggest interest in the story is all of the figurative language and all of the action and romance. The movie looks better then the book pictured in our heads. The story makes you want to read on because at the end of the chapters there are major suspense sentences. Those sentences ust want to pull you into the next chapter. This book is a major mystery in the beginning, but slowly it all pulls together. I really like tis book, and I hope you do to!

Winnie is learning about the laws of life because she is seeing how Mae has killd someone and now she has to pay. She is going to be hung. They will then try and kill her and when she doesn't die then they will get a strange feeling like something is wrong with her and then she will be forced to tell about what is going on and then everyone will find out about the spring.
