To Catherine, Kaitie is already way ahead in the book on page 182 and she said that Grandma Sands does cuss once.
Who do you think "The Wierd Watsons" were afraid of in the mountains? Someone in our class thought the Klu Klux Klan. Come to think of it, that sounds pretty obvious.

to stephany-
But Byron got told to respect his parents. He got in trouble for lighting a toy on fire, and his mom told him not light a match. His own mom almost burned him, that is how serious she was. We aren't saying that there is anything wrong being mexican, but Byron was told not to do dye his hair. And some moms don't care if their kids dye their hair but in this case Byron's mom does care if Byron dyes his hair. My friend (Alex) is mexican and there is nothing wrong with that but he respects his mom and does what she says.

Hi
I think it was stupid to burn kids fingers if they play with matches.

Hi everyone,

What do you think will happen to byron at his grandma's house? Do you think anything will happen to the family in the south with what is going on there?

Would you have just grabbed toilet paper and went to the bathroom in the woods or would you have went in the outhouse?

MESSAGE:
I thought it was gross how they talked about the outhouses in chapter 10! Has anyone ever been in an outhouse?
I think Birmingham will be a good way for Byron to get better behaved and he will stop being a bulley!

To Marla-
I think that is wrong to cut off your kids hair because he will get teased for a long time. I would of just grounded my kid or make him do some yard work or something like that I don't know.

The out-house was really gross. Espicially how Kenny described it. Flies buzzing out of the hole, gross! I would have gone into the woods, too.

How do you think Byron will act? I think he will fake being nice to just get out of there.
Then when they take him back he'll just be mean to Kenny and everyone again. What do you people think of the red necks coming to kill them? I think Byron is kinda mean for saying that but it is also kinda funny.

Dear Chinama,
I think that Byron's dad should've shaved his head. He doesn't really get to do things like that without pemission from his parentsd until he leaves the house.
I think is was strange when kenny was teasing him while thinking he was a reporter and didn't beat kenny up. I don't know why joetta keeps protecting byron like that, he is only mean to her and almost always ignores her.

Dear Correy,
I think Byron's dad should've shaved Byron's head because Byron should learn from it.

Hi everyone
do you think that it was right for joey to act the way she did about the doll? I think that it was right for her to act like she liked it so that she didnt hurt Mrs. Davidsons feelings. because she would probably be offended by joey if she said she didnt like it because it was white doll. do you think that joey shoul have told mrs.davidson that she didnt like her doll?
i dont think she should have because that would be rude if she did but i think that was good that she atleast told her mother that she didnt like it that the doll was white.

What do youy think of the bathrooms in Ohio?
I thought that they were totally disgusting. it si pretty bad when they would rather go to the bathroom outside then in the bathroom. i thought it was pretty bad that the public bathrooms were that bad. if i ever had to go to the bathroom in something like that i would rather go out side too. and i hate the fact of having to go to the bathroom outside. that was just nasty.

Dear Andy,
I think Byron will not change because a person's personality stays the same the whole time even when that person has a better atitude. Also I think that momma planned the trip so carefully because momma wanted Byron to speak. I think that momma overheard Buphead's and Byron's conversation.

I dont think Kenny will like the south.I think that Kenny wont like the south because in the time period that Kenny is in there is a lot of racism going on.I think this will stop Kenny from liking the south because he is African American, and something could happen to him. At first, when the whole Watson family is going to Birmingham I think Kenny was enjoying himself.
