Dear Cynthia,
We also think that Byron will change as a result of spending time with Grandma Sands because when he met his Grandma he was laughing when he hugged her. We also think that they will get along all right because they are both mean and cruel people.

Dear Yasmin and Savanna,
I just finished the book the other day and I really like the ending! But I hated the way some white guys bombed Joey's church and killed 4 girls!!!!!! What do you think about the bombing? I can't believe Kenny still believes in the "wool pooh", do you? Have you already finished reading the book ? What was your favorite part? Mine is still when Byron gets stuck to the window in the first chapter! Same thing with alot of other people in my class.
Do you think Byron has changed after there visit with grandma sands? Do you think Kenny has changed since then also? I feel really sorry for Kenny for when he sees the two dead girls!! What do you think? I don't know what Joey thought she followed Kenny away but I sure am glad she did, whoever that stranger was! I hope that we meet again some day, on the internet!! Hope you liked the book, cause i really did.
Your internet friend,
Katie

P.s.
Hope you have a great rest of the year!!!!!!!!

I 've just completed the book!!!!On the scale of 1 to 10,I'd give this book a 10. I think thats what it deserves. It's one of the best books I've ever read. Also today is our last day of this book club.Someone drops a bomb in a church ,and kills threee little girls.I think that the person who did it didn't like blacks , and church. Joetta almost died in there. She's really lucky.I just want to tell you that I enjoyed this book very much, and look forward to reading more books by Christopher Paul Curtis.Thas all I have to say about this great book, I encourage people who have not read it to read it.

Jake-
Hey Jake, it turned out that Byron didn't stay with his grandma after all, so I guess both our prediction turned out wrong. I think a person would have to be really twisted to drop a bomb on a church while sunday school is going on just because the church is a black church and its a miracle that Joetta did not get hurt or killed. This was a really good book, I gave it a rating of 9 on a scale from one to 10. Anyway it was cool chating with you. Have a tight rest of the year.

To : Amanda M.

Dear Amanda M.,

We are going to write a question and the answer.

If you were seeing a member of your family for the last time, what would you want to say to him or her?

I would tell them that I love them and that I wouldn't forget them for anything in the world.
