I disagree he was being nice on the way down to Alabama and the air was not different untill they were in the Appilacha mountins or they didn't mention it untill then. If it was the air then why didn't they notice the air was different untill they got out of the car.

I think By is just brown-nosing so he dosn't have to stay there. I think this because he was mean in the car and now he is nice. Then when the Wool Pooh gets Kenny, I think By was really scared. So that is why I think By was crying and hugging Kenny after he got saved. Have you ever tried brown-nosing to get your way like By?

Do you believe the story's about The racoon drowning the dog that Mr. Roberts. I don,t believe it because I thank that a racoon is smart enough to try and drown a dog. Do you like the setting in flint or in birmingham more. I like it in Flint because it was funny to see what stupid things Byron would do. Also if you were in Byrons position would you have tryed to run away and try not to go to Birmingham or would you go to Birmingham. If I was By I would go with my parents because if I ran away and than got caught I would be in even bigger trouble.

I think that Byren started kissing Kenny becouse he almost last his little brother and even though he sais he dosent like Kenney he realy dose deep down and he relized how close he came to loosing him forever. I think I would have done that to if that happend to my little brother also.

I was suppose to read chapter 13 for homework last night but you kept me hanging on what By might do next so I had to read the next chapter and the that lead to the very last chapter. That is one of the reasons I realy enjoyed this book. I think the ending was realy sad but also quit happy, I wish that I was as good as you at writeing. Also my mom thought it was funny when I wouldent let her talk to me becouse I was so into this book!

I think chap.10 was very good. I liked the way the author used imagery. Also the way he detailed everything. I don't think I could last almost the whole car ride with Joetta drooling on me.!!
